This just in…

Good morning everyone.  We wanted to pass this workshop information along.  I took C.J.’s query workshop and it’s the bomb!  It simplified the query writing process by helping me break down my plot into a single sentence.  I was then able to use her remaining tips to build the letter. Writers of all levels would benefit from this class.

The really great news is C.J. will be doing a monthly Query Writing 101 column for us beginning in October.  Readers will be given an opportunity to submit query letters and C.J. will offer feedback.  We will post more information on Query Writing 101 shortly, but here’s the information on C.J.’s workshop.

  1. I participated in CJ’s workshop, too, and watched her work magic on other participant’s queries. She really knows her stuff.

  2. CJ’s workshop helped me sharpen my ‘hook’ and restructure the overall query letter – highly recomend her course!

  3. I took CJ’s query class as well and loved it. At the end, I had a list of agents and a polished query with a killer ‘hook.’ Basically, all I had left to do was to press Send.

She gave wonderful feedback and has a knack of boiling down a story into just its important essence.
