Extra Credit! RU Faculty Expansion

Romance University has become such a busy, successful addition to the writing blogosphere that we’re considering adding a junior faculty member. Sample projects for the new faculty member are:

  • Assisting with back-end functions for RU including writing blurbs, editing posts, creating polls, posting lecture schedule on various venues and updating site pages
  • Generating ideas to improve current social networking presence and expand relationships
  • Conducting research on social networking and other blog sites
  • Assisting with launching new projects and programs

The characteristics we’re looking for in a new RU faculty member include:

  • Superior organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on proper grammar
  • Understanding of Facebook, Twitter and other social networking platforms and audiences
  • Reliable Internet access
  • Commitment to excellence and confidentiality
  • Ability to commit to this opportunity for a minimum of one year
