The growing New Adult genre means that more romances set in colleges are being published. While some of these have similar themes it definitely doesn’t feel like homework to read and enjoy these stories.

Callie once saved Kayden and they are happy to get to know each other when they find themselves at the same college a few years later.|
|Bliss is tired of being a virgin in Losing It by Cora Carmack. She tries to overcome her fears and freaks out, leaving a hot man in her bed. The next day she realizes the hot man she left is her new theater professor. More about growing up and love that about sex, this story is appealing and realistic.|
|Jos is looking for a fresh start at a new university and not the distraction of supposedly former bad boy Dusty in My Sweetest Escape by Chelsea Cameron. Bad choices derailed her from her good grades before but she finds that Dusty is trying to overcome some demons of his own.|
|Heather Wells likes taking care of the young people in the dormitory she helps run in Size 12 is Not Fat by Meg Cabot. It is better than her former life as a famous teen pop princess. But when one of her young charges is murdered, she uses resources from her past and present to solve the crime and finds love in the process. This is the start of a funny series.|
|College football star Drew offers Fable cash to pretend to be his girlfriend for a week in Monica Murphy’s One Week Girlfriend. She is struggling trying to raise her little brother, working multiple shifts, and hold everything together and is only too ready to try this. She doesn’t expect the chemistry and emotional pull the eventful week will bring.|
|Sydney thinks she has everything she needs at twenty-two: college, job and boyfriend. When she discovers that her boyfriend is cheating on her, she takes another look at everything, including hot guitar playing neighbor Ridge in Maybe Someday by Colleen Hoover.|
|Erin’s grandmother takes her tuition when she won’t major in business but the young woman pursues her writing dreams in Jennifer Echols’ Love Story. She loves New York and does not want to think about her family’s farm in Kentucky, but the boy from home who won’t leave her thoughts, Hunter, joins her in the Big Apple. The stuff of her stories is about to become a reality.|
