- SEAL YOUR WHEELSET: A roll of tape is 6 yards long, slightly more than the amount needed to complete one lap of tape on two 29-inch diameter wheels. In this way you will be sure to complete the taping without difficulty and without unnecessary waste.
- CHOOSE THE RIGHT SIZE: The width of the roll should be selected based on the inside width of your rim. Choose the ideal size for you by considering 1-2 millimeters more than the inner rim width.
- HOW TO USE: After removing the tire and cleaning the rim well, apply the end of the tape about 10 cm before the valve-hole and start adhering the tape by pulling slightly and rotating it around the rim, making sure the tape does not fold in on itself. Complete the turn until the tape overlaps. Your rim is now successfully sealed!
- VALVE INSTALLATION TIP: After applying the tape to the rim, all you have to do is drill a hole at the valve with a small awl. Do not make a hole larger than the valve body or you risk that the tubeless system will not work-it is better to make a smaller hole that is then enlarged later by the insertion of the valve itself. Finally, insert the valve. You have now completed the installation of the tubeless kit.
