With the Tiger Tool part number 90150 king pins can now be removed within minutes with relative ease and efficiency all while only one operator does the job.
Application: Commonly found on class 3-8 trucks and equipment. (For use with Ram 3500/5500, for use with Chevrolet 3500/5500, for use with Ford F-350/550, for use with Isuzu NPR, for use with Kenworth, for use with Peterbilt, for use with Freightliner, for use with Mack, for use with Volvo, etc.). The 90150 works on straight and tapered king pins from 7/8” to 2 5/32”. Please note that the 90150 is not compatible with FL981 axles where the tie rod is cast to the spindle.
Please note that the 90151 adapter is available separately to be used with this king pin press for use with the Isuzu NPR & GMC/Chevrolet W-series trucks. Optionally, you can remove 2 1/2 inch King Pins with the 90153 Clearance Plate Adapter, also available separately.
The 90150 is capable of generating 46,000 lbs of force, yet weighs only 30 lbs. This tool has anti-torque arms which prevent twisting of the main body while under extreme force, and is engineered for use with up to a 1 inch impact tool. The 90150 requires only one operator to use and end plates have been optimized by manufacturing them out of high-grade steel into diamond shapes, drastically reducing the overall mass of the tool.
The Tiger Tool King Pin Press includes three different forcing screw options, giving you the ability to service everything from 3/4 ton pickups up to Class 8 trucks. A shortened 1 1/4” forcing screw allows you to access king pins from the hardest to reach places and tightest wheel wells, even on busses. We have also included our three most popular tie rod end removers with the 90150 kit: 7/8”, 3/4”, and 20mm.
