A: The Groves Spitfire is one of the iconic names in recurve bows. The original Spitfire design was a collaboration in the late 1950’s between Groves and some physicists at Los Alamos, including Robert Oppenheimer, in a quest to design and build the fastest limbs for a recurve bow.
