  • Starter Kit Plus provides enough supports for approximately 750 sf (70m2) spaced 3 to 4 feet (1 meter) apart. Use on vapor retarders and barriers, elevated wood or metal secks, suspended slabs, concrete overlays, and sand.
  • The FinCaps supports 1-1/2″ (40 mm) Pipe (1.5″ ID/1.9″ OD). A 1-1/4” or 2” pipe may also be used. Minimum height using a 1-1/2” ID pipe from the bottom of the Base Plate to the finished elevation of concrete is 4-3/4” (120 mm).
  • The FinStand supports the FinCap screed chair with a 1/2″ x 13 threaded rod. The stand can be adjusted 1-3/4″ (45 mm) to accommodate any variation in the deck. Use a nut and washer for fine tuning. See the chart below for rod size needed for the desired floor depth.
  • The FinStand securely snaps into Base Plate and is textured to grip adhesives and will not puncture vapor barrier or membranes.
  • The setup is fast and easy. Insert a 1/2″ (13 mm) rod between the bottom of the FinStand and Base Plate and space 3 to 4 feet (1m) apart. Insert the threaded rod, nut, washer and MAKO Screed Chair once the bases are in place.
