A: The only reason it’s not 5 stars is in the listing it says you will be contacted to confirm generator model. No one ever contacted me and the wrong kit arrived. I contacted Us Carburation and they shipped out a replacement to me but still delayed my install I needed by about 3 days. Other than that the product works as advertised.

A: We feel the same way because we want every customer to experience how great it is to just slip on the Snorkel and go! However, as stated in the “Motor Snorkel Instruction Booklet” on page 3, the Motor-Snorkel is still being handcrafted by our motor fuel technicians one by one right here in the USA.

Q: Why did the gas come out of my snorkel?

A: The gas was very fresh. The softened gasket’s holes stretched severely around the mounting bolts contributing to air leakage as the gasket deformed while softening under tension. One part of the snorkel came loose, seen in the first picture.

Q: How to trade in a snorkel for a CIC?

A: If you don’t like it you might call 1-800-553-5608 and tell one of the customer sales representatives that you would like to trade in the snorkel for the CIC option instead. The CIC requires sending in your carburetor but it works out excellent. Your factory carburetor will be able to run gasoline, propane, and natural gas.
